About José Larios

Jose Larios is a proud Lamacchia Realty Dalton team member and is eager to help you with all your home buying and selling needs. In the years Jose has been an active real estate agent, he’s cultivated an impeccable reputation with his consummate professionalism, keen attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to focus exclusively on clients’ needs. He’ll strive to gain an in-depth understanding of what you want to get out of your home-buying or selling experience. Because he has an innate knack for connecting with clients on a personal level, he’ll treat you as a human being instead of as a way to rack up yet another sale. Jose first came to the US in 1997 as a recipient of a Georgetown University scholarship. Since then, he’s attained some impressive accomplishments, including winning awards at Berkshire Community College for academic achievement, community service, and leadership. These kinds of accolades would be extraordinary for anyone—let alone for an individual who spoke no English when he arrived in this country. When he’s not making clients’ dreams come true, he enjoys taking in the breathtaking beauty of the Berkshire hills on his bike or visiting family and friends in Guatemala. In addition to real estate, he has helped individuals with autism, and physical and intellectual disabilities lead richer, more meaningful lives. He is passionate about advocating for people for fair housing for all.

He has taken financial trainings and courses with worldwide trainings organizations. He personally immersed himself in those financial programs to get out of debt and learn about calculated savings and manage money. These lessons allowed him to become a leading community resource on financial literacy, speaking not from a book but from personal experience. He stands as an immigrant who has worked hard for the American dream and is a successful businessman, homeowner, and now completely debt-free except for his mortgage.

A compelling speaker and mentor in both English and Spanish, he is sought even outside of the Berkshires. He inspires while educating. He’s also fluent in Spanish!
